Freshly Baked Bread... Take 2

A few posts ago I wrote about my worst culinary creation in a long time -- bread that was capable of wounding Superman AND Batman in one toss.

Tonight's bread was hands down a more masterful creation. Perhaps that was because I bought a par-baked sourdough loaf that only required baking in the oven for 12 minutes at 450°F. Hmmm... no measuring, no kneading BUT hot and delicious crusty bread... I think I may be onto something.

Rounding out tonight's meal, I made a corn chowder. Chicken broth based, the chowder combined corn with poblano chilis, onions and sweet potatoes.
